Extraordinary Measures
During this week I watched a movie that moved my emotions. It was about a family that had three children two of which had a disease called pompe. The father had a good job with insurance that paid around $40,000 a year in medical bills. The doctors could not give the parents any hope because the life expectancy of children was only 9.This is heart breaking to know that all they could do was watch their children die. The father shows faith, courage and love for his children by risking everything to help develop a drug. He was also told the new drug would be only for infants. This movie should be watch by everyone because if was a true story.
